THE COMPANY
TRESCA Engenharia, Consultoria e Análise de Tensões is a company established in 1994 who provides services of finite element stress analysis, fracture mechanics analysis and vibration analysis. The Name TRESCA honors the french scientist who, in 1864, published an article on the theory of the effective stress based in the maximum shear stress. This theory was proposed initially by Coulomb almost 100 years before. The name also means "sTRESs CAlculation".
Counting on specialized and experienced professionals, the technical team is made up of:
André Ricardo Beim •
Founder and Managing Partner
Graduated in Mechanical Engineering from PUC-RJ (Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro), received a Master of Engineering in mechanical engineering degree from University of California at Berkeley. He works with finite element stress analysis since 1976, becoming one of the pioneers in this field in Brazil. André worked for several years for companies such as Ultratec and Confab. In 1994 establishes TRESCA ENGENHARIA.
Kira Fukushima Beim •
Managing Partner
Graduated in Naval engineering from POLI-USP (Polytechnic School of University of São Paulo), received a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering degree on composite materials at IPEN (Institute of Research in Nuclear Energy). Kira was a member of the Brazilian-USP Solar Car Team. And works for Tresca since 1998.
Renato Bezerra Leão •
Managing Partner
Graduated in Mechanical Engineering from POLI-USP (Polytechnic School of University of São Paulo), works with finite element stress analysis since 2001. Joined Tresca in 2008, after living 5 years in Germany, where he worked for Daimler AG and Lauer&Weiss GmbH.
